    Ok, here is an approach that works very well…

    First of all, it’s ok if your ex knows you’re open to the idea of getting back together. The main thing is not to pressure him in any way. If you do, his natural reaction may be to pull away from you.

    Give him a call and invite him to get together some time. No pressure, just a casual get together to do something you both enjoy. During your time out together, don’t talk about the relationship, how much you miss him, etc. Just have a good time, be really postitive and upbeat.

    Don’t spend the whole day together. Just an hour or two tops. You be the one that ends the “date” early. Let him know you had a good time and maybe you can do it again sometime. Under no circumstances stay the night together, sleep together, etc.

    The idea here is to allow him an opportunity to reconnect with the positive energy that attracted him to you when you guys first met.
