my tip would be to email or text him, nothing special, just a casual hey, what’s up. After he replies, ask him if he wants to go out for a drink. You will know, what he’s feeling by the way he answers to your message.
If he’s interested in seeing you, there might be a chance that he still has feelings for you.
If you then go for a drink, let him know that you are doing great, but you still miss him sometimes… Again, I think you will know how he feels by his response.
